Dum Maaro Dum is a 2011 Hindi language film. Abhishek Bachchan, was once a dishonest police officern; he was doing illegal work with a view to providing heaven-like facilities and luxuries to his wife (Vidya Balan) and his child. They were both then killed in an accident, so Abhishek Bachchan no longer had any reason to earn much money. He decides to work honestly, and he gets engaged to vanish out smuggling and drug supply from Goa.

rana daggubati, a DJ and guitarist, had a girl friend Bipasha who was keen to build her life as an air hostess. she was offered a job as air hostess by Aditya Pancholi and entrapped as a carrier to supply drugs all over world. once caught, she was sentensed for life but aditya pancholi saves her and in return, he wants her as his kept. she agrees and leaves rana. she still loves rana but has no option. thus rana wants her back and he wants that no one else in his around goes in smuggling work.

meanwhile pratiek babbar, a 17 year old guy, willing to go to USA for studies, with his girl friend is trapped by his friend. he is offered scholarship for studies and for that he has to carry drugs along with him while going to USA.

abhishek bacchan comes to know about pratiek babbar is going to carry so much drugs to USA, comes to air-port and stops his flight, and arrests him and he is sent to juvenile jail. rana ragubati, being a well wisher of pratiek knows that pratiek is innocent and his ears were poisoned by the bad company, tries to help him.

story then evolves around fight between abhishek bacchan, aditya pancholi and 3rd unknown personality (main and top dealer of drugs) with a view to root out drugs smuggling from Goa and to release pratiek from jail.
